SF Women's Basketball: Saints Keep Pace in MFC Race with 62-51 Win Over FSC-J

February 10, 2018 – Gainesville, FL – It wasn't the most efficient win of the season for Coach Chanda Stebbins and the Saints, but at the point in the season ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø is just looking for victories, and that's what they got on Saturday against Florida State College-Jacksonville.
SF (15-11, 5-2 MFC) struggled to get anything consistent going on offense in the first half, but used their defense to keep them in the game. At the break they led 27-24 over the BlueWave.
The third quarter saw the Saints push the lead out to seven heading into the final 10 minutes of action.
ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø outscored FSC-J 19-15 in the final frame to earn a hard fought victory. The win makes SF 5-2 in the Mid-Florida Conference, tied for first place with two games to go and also ended a two game skid.
Stephanie Jackson lead the offense with 14 points, Julie Fournier had 11, and Janasia Law 10.
SF outrebounded the BlueWave 42-28 and outshot FSC-J 40% to 30% from the field.
The Saints will be on the road Valentine's Day, February 14 at Daytona State College for a 6:00 p.m. conference game.
