NOTICE OF RULE AMENDMENT: The District Board of Trustees of 天涯海角社区, Florida, gives notice of its intent to amend Rule 2.8 (Prohibition Against Discrimination and Harassment) at its regularly scheduled board meeting on 5/16/17 at SF Bldg. S-332, 3000 NW 83rd St, Gainesville, FL 32606. PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To assure compliance with governing law and clarify processes. RULEMAKING AUTHORITY: FS 1001.64. LAWS IMPLEMENTED: The FL Civil Rights Act of 1992, FS Ch. 760; Title IX of the Educational Amendment Act of 1972, as amended; Titles IV, VI, and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; The VAWA Reauth. Act of 2013; Sec. 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended; The ADA Amendments Act of 2008; Age Discrimination in Employment Act 196; Age Discrimination Act of 1975; Title II of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008; Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, 38 USC 4301-4335; FS Ch. 295; FS 110.105, 112.04, 1000.05, 1006.53; Rules 6A-19 and 55A-7, FAC.
