March for Science Gainesville is a satellite organization of the national March for Science DC. There will be a march and rally in Gainesville, FL to take place concurrently with the national march and over 360 satellite marches across the country on Earth Day, April 22 from 10:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It will include speakers such as Lauren Poe and numerous demonstrations of science by student clubs from UF and ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø, as well as robotics clubs from Alachua County Public Schools.

The ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø liaisons are Andrew Moss (Lab Manager for SHP) and Leslie Rios (Microbiology professor in SHP). It is important to note that this is a non-partisan and inclusive event to highlight the importance of science and science education for the continued well-being of our society and to showcase the benefits of science to our area.
