SF Women's Basketball For Win Over Eastern Florida State College

From the outset Wednesday afternoon, the ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø Saints inflicted their will on the glass against Eastern Florida State College, using second chance opportunities to put away the Titans. SF outrebounded EFSC 60-23 in route to an 82-65 win. The Saints finished with a season high 29 offensive rebounds. The win is the second for Santa Fe over the Titans this season.
The Saints (5-6) led by 10 after the first quarter and stretched it to 14 at halftime, 40-26. Eastern Florida played better in the second half, but never got back in the game, falling by 17.
ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø took 81 shots from the field and held the Titans to just 61 attempts.
Ari Emanuel-Wright scored 21 points to lead both teams. Her 11 rebounds gave her her second double double of the year. Corey Staples also finished with a double double, scoring 17 points with 10 rebounds.
The Saints will hit the road Friday at Indian River State College against the Pioneers at 6 p.m.
