October 2, 1966 – The student who pushed ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø over the 1000 enrollment mark for the first term was the Assistant Chief of Gainesville Fire Department, John Dampier.
October 2, 2002 – ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø accepted an award in Charleston, S.C. for literary magazine Tracings, winning second place in the 2002 Southern Division of the Community College Humanities Association's Annual "Literary Magazine Competition" award.
October 4, 1994 – During a press briefing on this day, the college's first human patient simulator was unveiled. The manlike machine was to allow students to learn lifesaving skills without endangering human lives.
October 8, 1987 – New program unveiled to help business students link up with employers.
October 8, 1992 – St. Leo College started offering 4-year business program through ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø.
October 8, 1995 – ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø celebrated the 10 Anniversary of the ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø Stark Fall Festival with a special tribute to the 50 anniversary of the end of WWII.
