DRC to host Epilepsy Awareness Workshop

On Thursday, March 31, DRC will host the Epilepsy Awareness Workshop. The workshop will be held in S29/30 from 2:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In this interactive workshop, facilitated by Denise Weber of the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida. The following topics will be covered:
1. What is Epilepsy?
2. What Causes Epilepsy?
3. What Happens During a Seizure?
4. What to Do for Someone Having a Seizure?
5. Prevention, Recognition, and Triggers
6. When to Call 911
