Archer Elementary students visit the Davis Center

Fourth- and fifth-grade students at Archer Elementary visited the Davis Center on Friday, Feb. 5, to learn about colleges and careers. Jade Salamone, the Conservation and Education Specialist for the ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø Teaching Zoo, and Tom Mason, the advisor for Construction and Technical Programs, came out to speak with the students about some of the unique career opportunities available through ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø.

Ryan Keith, an assistant professor of Psychology, also led a class where the students learned about sensation and perception. In addition to participating in fun class sessions, these young students also took part in a campus tour and learned about what they can start doing now to prepare for college and careers.
