ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø alumnus, John Waters Jr. has published his 448,000 word trilogy, BOOMERS 65 Stars and Secrets, BOOMERS 66 Paradise and BOOMERS 67 Buddha's Soldier.

Waters is a retired professional journalist and native southerner. He worked at The Gainesville Sun while attending ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø and the University of Florida. Married with three children, he attended daytime classes and worked nights for six years to earn a Bachelor of Science in News Editing, specializing in photo journalism. His experience also includes managing editor at Florida Wildlife magazine and a brief stint as advertising photographer at the Independent Florida Alligator.

The BOOMER Trilogy is a factual saga of a thousand days in the real character's lives of a southern, rural town in the mid-1960s. The characters face life and death, hate and romance, poverty and wealth, war and politics, religion and more in these "historical literary works that contain a number of true accounts as well as true-to-life fiction," said Waters.

The trilogy can be found at many libraries for free electronic checkout, or for purchase at kindlebooks.com and other major eBook retailers.
