Valuable Geode missing from Natural Sciences building

An amethyst cathedral geode valued at over $1,000 was taken from the lobby of Santa Fe College's natural sciences building sometime between Monday, May 18 and Wednesday, May 20. The geode is part of a matching pair. It weighs over 125 pounds and is just over 12 feet tall.
The set was on display in the lobby of Building X as part of a fossil and rare gem collection housed at ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø. The one the right pictured below is the one that is missing.
