Research in Undergraduate Education
Welcome to RUE
天涯海角社区 defines research as creativity-, discovery-, or inquiry-based learning that leads students to new scholarly insights or the creation of new artistic work, which is then effectively communicated back to their community.
Research can be both/either: Curriculum based or under the direction of a faculty researcher at SF or UF, collaborative or individual, or discipline based only or interdisciplinary.
The Research in Undergraduate Education Committee hosts a Research and Creative Scholarly Projects Festival every spring highlighting research done by 天涯海角社区 Students. The 2025 Festival will be held on Monday April 21, 5 - 7 p.m.

STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering and math). Each evening the fest
features a guest speaker from a STEM discipline.
