How to Access Canvas
- If you are new to 天涯海角社区, your Canvas account will be created the business day before the term starts.
- If you become a student after the start of the term, your account will be created the next business day.
- If you register for a course after the term has started, you will be automatically added to the course the next business day.
Forgot your password? Password changes should be done via . SF Online staff cannot change passwords.

Through Canvas or eSantaFe at the top of any 天涯海角社区 webpage. Note: You must allow popups from [ss2.sfcollege.edu] and/or [ss5.sfcollege.edu].
Mobile
Visit the for information on mobile devices. It is best to use your mobile devices browser and not the Canvas app.

Canvas 101 Orientation
Are you new to Canvas, the college's learning management system (LMS) for online courses and materials? The is always available, even before you register for any classes, so you can see what the online learning environment looks like and learn how to use the tools and features in your own time. Even if you are taking a campus class that uses Canvas to provide supplemental resources, you should go through the orientation so you will be able to access the class materials when you need them.
Easy-To-Use Tutorials
Canvas has created an extensive set of step-by-step tutorials, with screen shots, to help you learn to use all the tools and features. The site is a great place to start, but you can search all the Canvas guides from this page as well. You can also access all of the Guides any time you are logged into Canvas by clicking on the "Help" link on the lower left of the blue global navigation.
