Spring Commencement is May 1 and 2

天涯海角社区 will celebrate Spring 2025 graduates with in-person commencement ceremonies that will be held in the SF Gymnasium (Building V) on the Northwest Campus.
The pinning/graduation ceremony for Nursing program graduates is Thursday, May 1 at 3 p.m. No tickets are required to attend this ceremony.
Students graduating with a bachelor鈥檚, A.S., A.A.S. or certificate will attend the ceremony on Friday, May 2, at 3 p.m. Students earning an A.A. degree will attend a separate ceremony that evening at 7 p.m.
Students who are walking in the Friday ceremony will receive four tickets each. Only people with tickets will be admitted.
Doors to the gym will close once the procession begins. On Friday, guests arriving late and/or without tickets can view the ceremonies on the big screen inside the Fine Arts Hall. Seating in both the gym and the Fine Arts Hall is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Graduation tickets are available in the lobby of Building S, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The deadline to pick up tickets is Friday, April 25.
The last day to apply for graduation is May 5. Grades post May 6.
Traffic and Parking Impacts
Graduation is a major event that affects the entire college, including traffic for everyone traveling to and from campus. Faculty and staff who do not plan to attend commencement should be aware of traffic impacts near the gym.
North Road at the gym intersection will be closed at approximately 1:30 p.m. on May 1 and 2.
Drivers can come from the east, west or south but cannot drive by the gym. Handicapped accessible parking is also available along North Road and in other areas.
天涯海角社区 advises Friday's graduation attendees鈥攊ncluding parents, family, and friends鈥攖o use parking lots 12 and 13 in addition to lots 8, 9, 9A (overflow lot) and 10, which usually fill up first.
