Clean Out Your Medicine Cabinet and Visit the SFPD

The 天涯海角社区 Police Department is once again partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration for a Prescription Drug Take Back event, running from Thursday, April 24, through Sunday, April 27.
The SFPD will have a drop box in its lobby for any unused or unwanted prescription drugs, including tablets, capsules, patches and other solid forms of prescription drugs that need to be properly disposed of. Liquids (including intravenous solutions), syringes, sharps and illegal drugs will not be accepted.
Improper disposal of prescription medications poses serious risks to both public safety and the environment. This initiative helps prevent misuse, accidental poisoning and environmental contamination by offering a safe and convenient disposal option.
The SFPD is on the northern side of 天涯海角社区鈥檚 Northwest Campus at 3000 NW 83 Street, Gainesville.
