SANTA FE TAKES BOTH GAMES OF DOUBLEHEADER ON SATURDAY
Gainesville, FL – The ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø Saints gave up only one unearned run in two games on Saturday against Jacksonville Streamline – Silcox to pick up two wins and remain undefeated in the Fall. SFC won game one 4-0 and game two 5-1.
The Saints offense pounded out 15 hits in 11 innings. Venica Brown led the way by going 3-for-3 with two RBI. Following her was Gia Tomossone who hit .800 on the day with two RBI. Four other ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø hitters had .500 averages on Saturday, Ashley Peterson, Jaimee Vega, Alexis Sowell and Ashley Curry, who also had two RBI.
ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø returns to action next Saturday with two doubleheaders, the first against Jacksonville Streamline – Evans, starting at 9:00am and the second against Team Jax at 1:30pm.
