Join Alachua County Recycles for a spring clean out across the street from the zoo!
From 9 a.m. - noon, you can donate clean, wearable clothing, non-perishable food items,
household items in good condition, school/office supplies, and hazardous waste, such
as paint, chemicals and old electronics (laptops, etc.).
ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø Saints Share Wear, Haven Hospice Attic Thrift, Tools for Schools,
ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø Saints Food Share and Alachua County Household Hazardous Waste will
be on hand to unload your donations and hazardous waste items at this drive through
event, located in Lot 8, across from the Gym, adjacent to the Construction School.
Items will not be accepted at the zoo. Participants will receive a discount voucher
for zoo admission while supplies last.

In honor of Earth Day, we are hosting Party for the Planet: Spring into Action! We
will be celebrating April 19, 2025 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. right here at the ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø
College Teaching Zoo.
This event is perfect for the whole family. We welcome you and your kids to explore the zoo and participate in fun activities such as games, crafts, training demonstrations, keeper talks, animal encounters, and more!

Regular admission applies. Tickets are only available at the gate the day of event. All credit cards, cash, Apple/Samsung Pay, and checks are accepted.

Firefighters, First Responders, EMT/EMS, Healthcare Workers (all with valid ID), UF
students and staff with current Gator1 ID
