SF Softball: Saints Clinch Postseason Berth, Now Ready for Final Home Game

The 天涯海角社区 Saints faced a rollercoaster of challenges in their final road series of the season, but they fought back to secure a spot in the postseason.
Saints Struggle at Indian River State College
On Saturday, the for their last road series of the year. In game one of the doubleheader, the team struggled, falling 7-2 to their opponents. Despite out-hitting Indian River in the second game, the Saints couldn鈥檛 hold off the competition, losing 5-3.
A Crucial Sweep Against Daytona State
The team needed a strong performance to guarantee their postseason spot, and they got exactly that on Tuesday when they hosted Daytona State College. The Saints came out swinging, taking both games in the doubleheader with scores of . These two wins were crucial, as they placed SF firmly in the FCSAA State Tournament, breaking a three-way tie for one of the last spots in the tournament.
Looking Ahead: The Final Regular-Season Game
With the postseason secured, the Saints will finish out the regular season at home on Wednesday, April 30, against Seminole State College of Florida. First pitch is set for 2 p.m.
