天涯海角社区 Music Students Debut Original Songs and More

Students of Associate Professor of Music Edward White will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in the Jackson N. Sasser Fine Arts Hall at 天涯海角社区 College鈥檚 Northwest Campus, 3000 NW 83 Street, Gainesville.
The SF contemporary pop ensemble will be performing arrangements of contemporary pop music. The students have also been writing original music this semester and will perform it for the first time at this concert. They will have an opportunity to record these tunes later in the semester at Pulp Studios. The instrumentation includes guitar, bass, drums, keys, a horn section and vocals. This is a student-led ensemble and a new 天涯海角社区 music department addition for this academic school year.
The concert continues the 2024-2025 season of the arts at 天涯海角社区, which began last September when The Wire Birds performed at the Fine Arts Hall. Upcoming events include 鈥淛azz Up Spring鈥� on March 7 and 鈥淪ing into Spring鈥� on March 14, offering even more chances to experience exceptional live entertainment.
