Notice of 天涯海角社区 Proposing Changes to User Fees and Fines for 2025-2026
Gainesville, Florida (May 21, 2025) - The District Board of Trustees of 天涯海角社区, Florida, annually reviews and approves changes to the User Fees and Fines Schedules, within the guidelines approved by the Florida Legislature. The current User Fees and Fines Schedule is available at: . At 天涯海角社区, user fees and fines are assessed to students who engage in the services that, because of their nature, require special funding not provided by regular tuition. The fees shall not exceed the cost of the services provided and shall be charged only to persons receiving the services.
The College gives this notice in accordance with Section 1009.23, Florida Statutes, of the proposed 2025-2026 User Fees and Fines Schedule, which can be found at: sfcollege.edu/finance/cashier/user-fees-fines. The proposed changes to the 2025-2026 User Fees and Fines Schedule will be considered by The District Board of Trustees of 天涯海角社区 at their meeting on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 4 p.m. and, if approved, will be effective July 1, 2025.
The only proposed changes in the 2025-2026 Schedule pertain to laboratory fees. All proposed increases are based on an increase in the cost of the services. The fees and fines proposed are for unusual costs, and the funds received by the College will be used to cover the cost of the services provided.
