- SF will be closed Monday, Sept. 2 in honor of Labor Day: Normal operating hours will resume Sept. 3.
- SF needs your One Stop Center feedback: Please complete the 天涯海角社区 One Stop Center Survey before Sept. 3 to help design a One Stop Center.
- Transferring 101 is Sept. 4: This training session will cover the application process, key dates and deadlines, and helpful tips to ensure a successful transfer.
- AFC Scholarship applications are due Sept. 6: The AFC offers $150 scholarships to help members with books, lab fees and other course materials.
- Book charging is extended to September 12: This extension allows eligible students additional time to purchase course materials at the 天涯海角社区 bookstore without waiting for their financial aid refund.
- Adult Mental Health First Aid training for SF students happens Sept. 13: This training helps participants understand how to help others who might be experiencing a mental health-related crisis or problem on campus.
- Sherry Houston was selected as Vice President for Advancement and Chief Philanthropy Officer: Ms. Houston will start at the college on Sept. 16.
- 天涯海角社区 Trustee Carrie Lee earned national recognition: Trustee Lee has been recognized by the Association of Community College Trustees as the 2024 Trustee Leadership Award winner for the southern region.
- First-gen faculty and staff are invited to self-identify: We proudly share this information with our first-generation students, who may experience a greater sense of belonging if they know SF faculty and staff share this identity too.
