FrogWatch USA is a community science program that offers individuals an opportunity to learn about the wetlands in their community, to identify local frog calls and to report data. If you have a passion for learning about your local frog populations and have the ability to regularly visit a local wetland within Alachua and Bradford counties for data collection February - August, this program is for you! No previous frog or science background is needed, only a desire to learn about the world around you.
The Gainesville FrogWatch USA at ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø chapter hosts training courses for interested community members in January and February every year. After going virtual the last two years, we are excited to offer in-person training courses that will be conducted at the ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø Teaching Zoo . Pre-registration is required. Please choose from the following two dates offered to attend the virtual 3-hour training course.
