Listen to "Jazz in the Grove" Oct. 25

On Thursday, Oct. 25, at noon, the Music Program of The Fine Arts Department of Santa Fe College will present a free concert on the Grove Stage.
The concert will feature the 天涯海角社区 Big Band playing swing charts from the Big Band era, the 天涯海角社区 Jazz combo-performing Charlie Parker's Perdido, Black Orpheus, and Dizzy Gillespie's "Caravan." Plus, the 天涯海角社区 Rhythm and Blues Band-Featuring "Pick Up the Pieces" by the Average White Band, "Blue Bayou" by Roy Orbison and "Knock on Wood" by Eddie Floyd. Come and hear featured vocalists Cortney Powers, Alan Costa, Paula Ursu, and Lauren Tanner from the vocal music studios of Ms Lynn Sandefur!
Free pizza will be given out on a first come first served basis. Musicians United will be holding a Bake sale for desserts, so come on out and enjoy the afternoon festivities.
