SAINTS DROP TWO AGAINST STATE COLLEGE OF FLORIDA
Bradenton, FL 鈥� The State College of Florida Manatees used home field to their advantage on Saturday afternoon, defeating the FCSAA #4 天涯海角社区 Saints 3-2 and 6-0.
Two costly errors were the downfall for SF in the 4-3 game one loss. SF (4-3) outhit the Manatees 10-5 but couldn't overcome two late fielding mistakes.
Left handed pitcher Erika Garcia was credited with the loss in the first half of the double header.
Kimberly Booker finished game one 2-for-3 with an RBI, Brittney Mayhill was 2-for-3 with an RBI and Bianca Torres was 2-for-3.
天涯海角社区 couldn't get the bats going in game two and fell 6-0. Garcia started started and took her second loss of the day. Cierra Miller pitched the final 4.1 innings, surrendering just one hit. Kimberly Booker had the lone 天涯海角社区 hit.
The Saints play their first home doubleheader of the season on Tuesday, February 7 against Tallahassee CC at 2:00 PM.
