HILLSBOROUGH HANDS SAINTS 65-54 LOSS
Tampa, FL 鈥� The Hillsborough CC Hawks handed 天涯海角社区 (7-15, 1-3 MFC) their third straight Mid-Florida Conference loss on Saturday afternoon, defeating the Saints 65-54.
SF hung around in the first half and trailed just 36-33 at the break. Hillsborough turned up the defensive pressure and held the Saints to just 22 points in the second half to improved their record to 3-1 in the MFC, good enough for a first place tie with Daytona State.
Stephanie Edwards led the Saints with 16 points and Lydia Cuff scored seven to go with 10 rebounds.
天涯海角社区 hosts College of Central Florida on Wednesday, January 25 at 6:00 PM at the 天涯海角社区 Gym. The men follow at 8:00 PM against CCF.
