Community College Advocate, Terry O鈥橞anion, to Speak at SF May 19

Dr. Terry O鈥橞anion, a co-founder of 天涯海角社区 and architect of today鈥檚 Learning Colleges, will meet SF employees in an informal session beginning at 2 p.m. Thursday in the new Fine Arts Hall.
Terry and Dr. Joseph Fordyce arrived in Gainesville in 1965 to found an entirely new kind of college, the first in the nation built upon the student-centered principles that guide us to this day. After starting 天涯海角社区, Terry became president of the League for Innovation in the Community College and applied our 鈥渨hole student鈥� ethic to launch the Learning Revolution.
Terry is an engaging personality steeped in the history of the community college movement. He plans to tell stories and hopes for give-and-take with you and your 天涯海角社区 colleagues.
