SFC Dental Assisting Students Win First Place in State Competition

Congratulations to Stacy Stemp (at right in photo) and Allison Shehan, 天涯海角社区 dental assisting students, who won first place (and $200!) in the statewide student table clinics Friday, June 19 at the Florida National Dental Convention in Orlando.
The Florida Dental Assistants Association (FDAA) sponsors this annual student competition. Stacy and Allison based their table clinic on research they conducted on the fluoride content in drinking water (city, well and bottled).
Kudos also to their Dental Health Education instructor, Becky Craig. Becky's student have won first place for the second year in a row!
