The Future of Learning at 天涯海角社区: Student Roadmapping Session, Thursday, S-29, 3:30-5:00 p.m.
We have been looking carefully at ways to improve the student learning experience at 天涯海角社区 and we need your help! Please join us for a "Roadmapping" session on February 6, 2025 from 3:30-5:00pm in Room S-29 on the Northwest Campus. Refreshments will be provided to all that attend.
Over the last few months the college has been looking carefully at ways that we can improve the student learning experience at 天涯海角社区. Five specific themes have emerged:
- providing meaningful mentorships
- supporting learning outside of the classroom
- providing staff and faculty with the support and training they need, improving our online classes
- integrating new technologies into teaching and learning.
Now that we've identified five areas of focus, we'd like to explore these themes by charting a path forward. What would these themes look like in practice? What kinds of goals should we be setting as a college? How will we know we're on the right path? As students, you have critical insights into what we're doing well in these areas and how we could do better.
